Parastrip^™ is a modified bitumen cover strip to ensure waterproofing of the end laps on composite panels. Designed for use in a homogeneous multi-layer modified bitumen roof membrane system, Parastrip^™ consists of a 180 gram polyester mat impregnated and coated with styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified bitumen. The top surface is covered with a mineral parting agent.

Parastrip^™ is available with torch and self-adhesive application methods. Parastrip^™ TG has a back surface is coated with an SBS-modified bitumen layer specifically formulated for torch application and is surfaced with a polyolefin burn off film. The back surface of Parastrip™ SA is coated with a self-adhesive bitumen layer and is lined with a polyolefin release film.
