PA-828 Flashing Cement is designed for use with Siplast SBS-modified bitumen roof systems as a membrane flashing cold adhesive for granule-surfaced sheets. It is typically applied using a notched trowel. To ensure proper adhesion, PA-828 Flashing Cement is applied to the back of the flashing sheet and to the substrate. Applications over irregular or porous substrates may require an approximate total of 2.5 to 4 gallons per square. Usage rate should be doubled over granule surfaces. Coverage rate may vary depending on ambient temperature, surface conditions, and applicator. Asphalt cutback reinforced with non-asbestos fibers meets ASTM D4586, Type II.
