Paradiene^® 40 is a finish ply used in hybrid and multi-layer applications, and as a base flashing material where granule-surfaced flashing sheets are required. It consists of a unique elastomeric blend formulated by SBS and high-quality proprietary asphalt. These high-performance modified bitumen finish plies are available in a wide range of sheet variants and enhancements, such as Siplast Eco-Activ^® granule surfacing and Siplast RoofTag roof asset identification.

Paradiene^® 40 FR can be applied using PA-311 Cold Adhesive, approved Type IV Asphalt, or SFT Adhesive, while Paradiene^® 40 FR BW can be applied using PA-311 series Adhesive or PA-828 Flashing Cement. Paradiene 40 FR TG is torch-applied and the back surface is coated with a high-performance modified asphalt adhesive layer specifically formulated for torch applications. The adhesive layer's surface is embossed with a grooved pattern to provide optimum burn-off of the plastic film and maximize application rates.
